Trent Reznor blocked by Apple

Trent Reznoro of Nine In Nails (NIN) recently had his app rejected by the app store:

This touches on a series of policies that Apple has about objectionable content.  The argument goes like this:

Hey Apple, people can buy my album from iTunes full of profanity, but an app that streams my podcasts? Denied?  That’s hypocrisy.

A valid point.  I think though, that Apple has to create a way to create and filter adult content on the app store in the same way the do it on iTunes.  I suspect this policy is driven mainly by the absence of a functional way to filter this content for younger viewers which is present in the iTunes Music Store, but not on the App Store.
