This is such a great ad, I can’t help but see the eventual end to PCs in the consumer market if Microsoft doesn’t step it up.  I had to share this:

Here’s a great video of someone who has a passion, pursuing it for the pleasure of it.  I don’t know what would compel anyone to want to build a replica of a movie robot, but that doesn’t matter.  What matters is the magic that can come from the efforts people put into these pursuits, that’s where innovation happens. You can try to recreate this type of ‘mindspace’ in an office, but seriously, unless you’re really lucky you’ll end up with a committee arguing over minutia.

Side Note: You could probably say that a lot of people have built R2D2s over the years, why is this one special?  Well, he plans on controlling it with an iPhone app!
